Head Housekeeper

Job Summary
The Head Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our establishment. This leadership position involves overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and managing daily operations within the housekeeping department. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
• Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to team members based on occupancy levels and special requests.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness in a prompt and professional manner.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care maintenance.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and customer service standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to motivate and guide staff.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Pay: $18.85 - $19.99 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
