Role Objective
We are seeking a driven and experienced Manager of Ticket Sales to lead our dynamic sales team. This role is responsible for driving ticket revenue, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing a team of Business Development Representatives. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record in sales management.
Responsibilities
• Achieve annual ticket sales revenue goals through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and team leadership. Oversee daily revenue tracking and campaign performance, ensuring alignment with overall revenue targets.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop a high-performing Business Development team.
• Design and implement ongoing training initiatives to improve productivity, enhance sales skills, and foster a culture of success.
• Analyze historical and current sales data to identify trends, optimize sales campaigns, and uncover new lead sources. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation.
• Build and nurture relationships with local businesses and organizations to drive hospitality revenue and group sales for LIV Golf events.
• Participate in planning meetings with internal stakeholders (marketing, operations) to identify commercial revenue opportunities and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to share best practices and integrate efforts.
• Assist in the creation and management of the annual hospitality sales budget.
• Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, inventory management strategies, and lead generation initiatives.
• Regularly communicate sales team performance metrics to senior management.
• Actively manage sales campaigns and individual performance to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
Experience
• 5 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and best practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing successful sales campaigns.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
Required Skills
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communications skills, extensive customer service skills.
• Highly organized, ability to multitask, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Google programs required.
• Willingness and ability to attend Event Series, as needed
The hiring range for this position in New York ranges from $82,500.00-$99,000.00 USD.
