Located in Johns Creek, GA, LIV Recovery Center is a boutique-style treatment facility offering personalized PHP and IOP services for adults navigating substance use and mental health challenges. Our growing team is built on decades of front-line experience, and we’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals who are ready to grow with us.
Your Role as a Behavioral Health Tech
As a BHT, you’ll provide direct client support and help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. You’ll work closely with our clinical team and be an essential part of our clients’ day-to-day recovery journey—bringing consistency, care, and accountability to their experience.
What You'll Do
- Support clients through their daily schedule, offering encouragement and structure in a respectful, professional manner
- Assist with group facilitation and therapeutic activities as needed
- Monitor and document client behaviors, mood, and participation
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Provide emotional support, de-escalation, and crisis intervention under supervision
- Communicate observations to the clinical team and assist with treatment plan goals
Who You Are
- Passionate about mental health and recovery work
- A reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Calm under pressure and able to maintain professional boundaries
- Detail-oriented with good documentation and communication habits
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health, addiction recovery, or residential treatment setting is preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with Kipu EMR is a plus, but not required—we'll train the right person
