About The Role:

• Multi-Unit Property Complexes typically receive and pay a single bill per utility for an entire property. They contract with Livable to split the bills between residents.
• As an Account Manager, you will work with our team to prepare timely and accurate billing statements for residents to ensure that properties get reimbursed for the expense and residents pay a fair portion of the utility bills.
• Primary responsibilities in the position revolve around managing our client’s billing needs. This may consist of but is not limited to the following items :
• Working with clients to achieve mutually beneficial Billing solutions
• Using custom software to calculate utility bills for each resident or tenant
• Performing regular audits of client accounts to ensure accuracy of the teams work
• Working with clients to resolve any errors that may arise during the billing process
• Continuously look for ways to problem solve and increase personal productivity as well as that of the team
• Determine best practices for billing particular properties and working with the team to relay that information
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

• 1 year of experience in a similar role, performing comparable work
• You are highly organized, the ability to pay close attention to detail is CRITICAL for this role
• Ability to problem solve and research information
• Ability to work with a team remotely
• Proficiency in all Google Suite products, especially spreadsheets, Google Meet, Hubspot, Project/Task management software such as Monday.com
• You have a working knowledge of federal, state, and local utility compliance
• You will manage billing questions and updates
• You have a growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nimble team
• You view setbacks as learning opportunities, not failures
• You’re highly adaptable, easily acclimating to a rapidly changing business and industry

Nice to haves:

• You've been an early hire at a fast-growing company before
• You’ve had professional experience in Fintech and/or Proptech
• You’ve had experience or a working knowledge of Utility Billing
• You have experience or good working knowledge of the Property Management or Multi-family Real Estate industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
