The Director of Data and Innovation will lead our organization's data-driven strategy and innovation initiatives. This role is pivotal in leveraging data as a strategic asset to drive organic growth, operationalize mission use cases and unlock new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will align strategies, roadmaps, and priorities with public health customer needs while integrating them into our internal strategies, fostering a customer-centric approach to innovation and growth. Understanding the customer, their needs and strategic direction is paramount to this role.
Requirements :
- Drive the exploration and implementation of innovative solutions that address key public health challenges using advanced data analytics, AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
- Establish an innovation and R&D framework to ensure efficient, secure, data utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and execute new use case ideas aligned to customer needs using data as a catalyst.
- Translate customer roadmaps into compelling and tangible growth opportunities, articulating the vision, and then rally a team of supporting engineers and SMEs to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on data innovation, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Influence and contribute to enterprise data strategy, tooling, and management.
- Serve as a thought leader, promoting a culture of innovation and growth.
- Attend customer events and speaking engagements to remain aligned in the customer direction.
- Lead development of white papers, case studies, proof of concepts, prototypes and pilots.
- Serve as chief architect on key client engagements, including writing and developing scalable solutions leveraging data science and advanced analytics.
- Develop and maintain strong external relationships with key government stakeholders and partners.
