The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing our company's data architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, including data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable database systems.
Requirements :
- Define and implement data strategies that support enterprise business needs and objectives.
- Design and construct large relational databases / warehouse, and integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure, and refine system performance and functionality.
- Develop data models for applications, metadata tables, and supporting relational database structures.
- Design and implement modern data architectural frameworks to support evolving business landscapes and diverse customer needs i.e. Data Mesh, Fabric, and Lake / Lakehouse.
- Oversee and be hands-on with orchestrating and configuring large scale data pipelines to curate diverse data sets.
- Oversee the integration of new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
- Ensure architecture will support the requirements for privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to data management teams and collaborate with IT staff and business units to determine data needs.
- Build, lead, and inspire high-performing data team, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and collaboration.
