The People Business Partner role will be someone who is a creative business problem solver who is responsible for the development and delivery of innovative people solutions. More specifically, the role will be executing generalist functions in support of all business objectives. Specifically in the areas of talent acquisition, data management, process development, organizational and performance management, and will be a key partner to the business as we continue to grow. This role will also partner closely with the Vice President – People to implement effective People practices that will support the strategic growth of the business. This person will help navigate complex challenges and must be solution oriented with the ability to work across multiple teams.

What you will do:

  • Partner with Revantage, our shared services partner, and other operations service providers to ensure that that the quality of service provided meets established SLA standards and overall customer service expectations.

  • Oversees the hiring plan, requisition management, job description maintenance and other talent related activities.

  • Facilitate the cross-boarding function for all transfers and promotions including systems access, updates, memos and the cross-boarding process to join the new team/ position.

  • Build relationships with leaders and team members to offer thought leadership, people strategy and execution in our fast paced and growing business.

  • Facilitates full scale talent management, including the grow process, feed forward and promotions

  • Works closely with the Compensation team to facilitate job offers, year end compensation planning and head count reporting.

  • Drive and innovates programs and initiatives to cultivate our culture throughout the organization

  • Provide input and influence on the strategic direction by serving as a trusted advisor to the various teams on a wide variety of issues

  • Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions)

  • Manage the off-boarding process

  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation throughout the organization

  • Manages and advises on complex organizational design changes

  • Provides guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with Revantage to develop solutions, programs, and policies

  • Promotes diversity & inclusion, collaboration, fairness, high-performance, innovation and integrity

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area

  • Minimum 5 years of generalist experience in Human Resources advising business units on all matters related to people and culture including employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent management and recruitment

  • Exceptional communication skills required to present, discuss, and explain complex information to employees.

  • Excellent client service skills and ability to partner with multiple, diverse stakeholders

  • Strong change management skills with the ability to drive organization, process, and technology change

  • Strong team player with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, while thriving in a fast-paced work environment

  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Industry experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, asset management, technology or related

  • Strong people management skills with high EQ

  • Excellent client service skills and ability to partner with multiple, diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to lead projects including building timeline, communication plan, facilitate discussion with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong team player with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, while thriving in a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to use data and analytics to address and problem-solving skills to make decisions to help improve overall organization health.

  • Strong proficiency in all MS Office products, including knowledge of HRIS related software

Preferred:

  • HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP

  • Experience with Predictive Index

Base Compensation Range:

$115,000.00 To $140,000.00. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

Total Direct Compensation: This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.

Benefits: The Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
