Why We Need Your Talents

Laundry Attendant will be responsible for cleaning and the distribution of the cleaning supplies needed for the Guest Room Attendants and the Houseman. They will wash shower curtains, guest pillows, Show mats, bath rugs, Guest Robes/slippers.  Once these items have been washed and dried they will take them to the appropriate storing area.  They will also assist with maintaining a portion of the back stage area. 

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Washing of the following in housed items:
• Rags/other cleaning materials
• Shower curtains
• Bath rugs
• Guest Robes/slippers
• Pillows
• Show Mats
• Clean the back staged Team Member area near the laundry space
• Bring items once cleaned to the storage location

Skills You'll Need to Succeed

• Ability to read, follows instructions, and understands visual aids.
• Ability to operate washer and dryer
• Knowledge of safety guidelines.
• Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of guests at all times.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

A Few Must Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• One (1) year experience in previous cleaning, preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Able to communicate using a two-way radio with ear piece.
• Able to clean smoking areas.
• Able to push/lift up to 20 pounds.
• Able to stand and/or walk up to 7 ½ hours per shift.
• Able to stoop, crouch, and kneel.
• Able to reach with arms.
• Able to ascend/descend stairs for at least 7 ½ hours per shift.
• Able to work in a loud work environment.
• Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment.
