The Surveillance Investigator has the responsibility for observation and investigation of Live! Casino in real time, previous events and potential actions and activities of guests, team members and others which may result in loss of assets inclusive of cash, tokens/chips, coupons and property. The Surveillance Investigator will also investigate and monitor actions to protect and limit if not eliminate company liability from lawsuits and litigation as well as Supervise Surveillance Team Members.

The Surveillance Investigator has the responsibility for observation and investigation of Live! Casino in real time, previous events and potential actions and activities of guests, team members and others which may result in loss of assets inclusive of cash, tokens/chips, coupons and property. The Surveillance Investigator will also investigate and monitor actions to protect and limit if not eliminate company liability from lawsuits and litigation as well as Supervise Surveillance Team Members.
Where You'll Make an Impact
- Observe and investigate casino operations for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by team members and guests, using audio and video equipment.
- Monitor establishment activities to ensure adherence to all state gaming regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Operate monitor room equipment.
- Report all violations and suspicious behaviors to supervisors, verbally and/or in writing.
- Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
- Develop and implement surveillance department effective investigative policies, procedures and processes.
- Supervises department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and guests.
- Assist in the training of Surveillance Operators.
- Develop and maintain relationships with representatives of the State Gaming Agency.
- Work with Risk Manager to investigate risk claims.
- Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
- Protect company assets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
- Must be able to read/write in the English language.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and result.
- Experience with investigative and report writing responsibilities would be a plus.
- Ability to solve routine problems.
- Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure.
- Ability to work all shifts on a rotating basis as designated.
- Willingness and ability to learn and understand gaming laws and regulations.
- Two (2) year associates or technical degree in a related fields or equivalent work experience in Security or Surveillance within a comparable industry requiring knowledge and experience with sophisticated digital surveillance equipment.
- You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such an environment.
- Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
