The Player Services leader is responsible for overseeing the cage, drop & count and credit departments and the Live! Rewards Program. This position is also accountable and responsible to ensure these 4 areas are operating in accordance with gaming regulations and casino operations.
Responsibilities (Text Only)
Where You'll Make an Impact: - Responsible for efficient overall operation of cage, drop & count, and credit departments and the Live! Rewards Program. - Assure that functions and procedures in cage, drop & count, and credit are followed in compliance with gaming regulations. - Oversee the operation of the Live! Rewards Program including all new, replacement, or inquiries of the program. - Oversee the assurance of compliance of internal controls for cage, drop & count, and credit. - Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. - Meet with departmental manager as necessary. - Review with managers in cage, drop & count, and credit the operational budget, also assisting minimizing operating cost. - Interviews, hires, counsels, and evaluates cage, drop & count, and credit Managers. - Continually evaluates Cage, drop & count, and credit operations and makes changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Oversees the filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Claims with Bankruptcy Courts in compliance with Louisianna and Federal Laws as needed. Coordinate with Live Casino’s VP of Legal and represent the casino at court proceedings when required. - Other duties as assigned. Skills to Help You Succeed: - Knowledge of state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming regulations, and internal controls. - Knowledge of Casino Credit issuance and Casino Credit Collections. - Title 31 experience with SAR /SARC experience is preferred. - Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. - Ability to solve complex problems.Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- College Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a casino in the areas of cage, drop & count, or credit.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and mature judgement skills.
- Strong knowledge of all essential functions in cage, drop & count, and credit.
- Ability to operate department specific software programs; prepares reports, write, read and comprehend complex memos and financial reports.
- Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
