Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)
The Table Games Dealer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, fast, friendly, and fun environment for all guests, team members, and company assets. The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude with an emphasis on the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests.

CLEAN: Must make the property shine and look impeccable while maintaining a neat CLEAN and crisp personal appearance.
SAFE: Must make guests feel SAFE and comfortable through creating a worry free, carefree experience.
FAST: Provide FAST and efficient service with accuracy. Meet service time requirements and anticipate guest needs.
FRIENDLY: Greet each guest with FRIENDLY welcomes, making eye contact and smiling. Use H.E.A.R.T. steps to ease guest concerns. Say thank you to departing guests.
FUN: Work passionately as a team to create a FUN experience both for everyone who works and plays here.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties
- Dealing the games and monitoring the monies of the table at all times.
- Controlling gaming cards and equipment.
- Protect company assets by monitoring guests’ movements at table at all times.
- Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play.
- Excellent customer service.
- Paying wins/taking losses.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
Qualifications
Dealer School Details: 🕓 When: Class Start Date: Monday, March 17th Class End Date: Friday, April 25th Class meets daily Monday through Friday 10am – 2pm *TBD - We may add an afternoon session from 2pm-6pm* 📍 Location: Live! Casino Dealer School Westmoreland Mall, Greensburg, PA Dealer School is located on the 1 st floor of the Mall across from Old Navy. 🃏 What you will learn: Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Mississippi Stud, Criss Cross Poker, Ultimate Texas Poker, and Let it RideJob Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
- Ability to speak English clearly, listen, and follow directions.
- Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions in English. Ability to use chips, cards, and a paddle.
- Must possess good hand/eye coordination.
- Knowledgeable of specified games and gaming regulations.
- Ability to add monies and chips. Knowledge of theft techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
- Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.
- Complete knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.
- Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.
Educational Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
A Few Items To Note:♦️ Live! Casino Dealer School is a Free training. At the completion of school, you will receive a Dealer Certificate that allows you to deal cards within any casino in Pennsylvania. ♥️ Live! Casino does not guarantee employment at the completion of Dealer School; you will be given the opportunity to audition for a position with our company. We are currently hiring: Part-Time Dealers ♣️ Must be able to work weekends; a new Dealer can expect to be scheduled on the following shifts: 8pm – 4am and/or 6pm – 2am. ♠️ If offered a position, we require a pre-employment background check. ♥️ The table games dealer position requires a G-license with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Unpaid/unfiled Federal and/or State taxes, unpaid fines, etc., that are not on a payment plan will prevent you from obtaining a Gaming License. ♦️ Live! Casino absorbs the cost of the license unless you depart the company within the first 6 months; the cost will be deducted from your final paycheck.
