The Marketing Executive at Live! is responsible for Special Events, Promotions, Traditional and Digital Advertising, Public Relations, Entertainment, Website Marketing, Player Development, Direct Marketing offers, Hotel and Resort Marketing ,Calendar Management and Planning, and Social Media. The ability to flawlessly execute the business requirements in one of the most premier casino and hotel destinations is paramount to this position’s success. This is a leading role within the organization; expected to interact across all employee levels, including corporate executives and owners.
Responsibilities (Text Only): Where You'll Make an Impact: - Supports the strategic vision to develop and implement the marketing strategies and tactics that leads Live! Casino to become and remain the premier gaming and entertainment option in the Virginia and the surrounding region. - Leads and directs the marketing management team in the development, production, and promotion of Live! Casino products and services to guests. - Responsible for planning, controlling, communicating, and implementing procedures and processes for the overall efficient marketing operations of the business. - Drives incremental revenues from a variety of sources -both for Gaming and Non-gaming. - Identifies revenue potential by key market segments and controls expenses to achieve an acceptable rate of return on investment. - Responsible for creating marketing plans, planning and execution of all programs in order to achieve gaming and non-gaming revenue goals. - Manages budget by tracking expenditures, accruals, reporting, forecast and invoicing. - Communicate and work with finance, analytics, and other departments across the enterprise to improve the marketing division and overall company’s position, including working with Centralized Marketing services and other property marketing leaders. - Continually evaluates the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions. - Directs and leads staff in developing strategies to accomplish objectives approved by the Owners and oversees the implementation of the strategies. - Directs and leads the preparation of short-term and long-term business plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives, with operational assistance from all functional areas. - Maintains a sound plan of the Live! Casino and Hotel organization by establishing policies to ensure adequate management training and development and to provide for management succession. - Evaluates the results of overall marketing operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the Ownership. - Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct reports are clearly defined and understood. - Serves in leadership role with developing the company’s identity as good corporate citizen and community leader being on boards for local non-profit organizations. - Embraces the Live 5 values of Clean, Safe, Fast, Friendly, and Fun for the property. - Ability to extend complimentaries in accordance with the property comp matrix. - Other duties as assigned. Skills to Help You Succeed: - High degree of computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of PC and Mid-Range system applications. - Outstanding communications and presentation skills. - Ten (10) – fifteen (15) years’ experience in operating Consumer Marketing programs in a high-volume hospitality environment, including conceptualizing, producing and executing these types of programs. - Ability to quickly analyze problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner. - The ability to multi-task. Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution in a business-related field (i.e. Marketing, Finance, Business) or equivalent experience required.
- MBA is preferred.
- Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
