Overview:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing communication with associate merchants, ensuring seamless relationships, and providing consistent reporting. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, analyze data for strategic decision-making, and collaborate with internal teams to drive business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Merchant Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for associate merchants. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to maintain productive relationships. Monitor and respond to merchant requests and concerns in a timely manner. Lead monthly forecast alignment meetings with merchants and the replenishment team regarding in-stock levels, inventory, and forecasting.
- Weekly Reporting & Tasks: Prepare and deliver weekly reports on category/account performance, including key metrics and progress against line reviews. Analyze data to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and recommend strategies for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams (merchandising, purchasing, overseas, and business planning) to gather necessary data for comprehensive reporting. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and communicate issues to accounts. Manage all 1P setup and content for active replenishing items on account eCommerce sites. Work with business planning to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified forecast accuracy levels.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with associate merchants, understanding their business needs and objectives. Serve as a liaison between merchants and internal teams to ensure effective communication and problem resolution. Network and build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Account Growth & Retention: Monitor category financials and collaborate with merchants and VP of Sales to identify opportunities for growth. Provide proactive solutions to increase productivity. Utilize data sets and Luminate analytics to identify growth opportunities and devise action plans. Collaborate with VP and SVP of Sales on all Market and Line Review presentations. Handle additional projects and duties as assigned by the VP and SVP of Sales.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience using Retail Link/Luminate, Madrid, Unify
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in account management, merchandising, or sales analytics
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

When in a corporate location, Associates in this role may spend over 90% of the day in a stationary position while using a computer or other devices. When in a manufacturing location much of the day may be spent standing and walking. There is also an occasional need to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks as well as the ability to move about the office and common office areas.
There is also an occasional need to bend, stoop and lift (typically less than 20 lbs.). as well as frequently touch and feel. The ability to hear and see with vision abilities in close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus is necessary

When in corporate, Associates in this role spend much of the day in a climate-controlled office environment with a low to moderate noise level.
When in a Manufacturing location in the production / warehouse areas, the Associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however there may be areas designated as Hearing Protection required and provided earplugs are mandatory in those areas.
There may be areas of the plant and warehouse areas where exposure to heat and/or cold can occur. The Associate may be exposed to dust and floating particles used in the manufacturing, storage and inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
