Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to prepare delicious meals according to our menu. The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certificate is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
