Job Summary
We are working on putting together a wonderful, compassionate care-giving team for a new client in the Irmo/Chapin/Ballentine, South Carolina area.
You will be directly working with the client, following a one-on-one care plan in their home. You must have a big heart and the ability to provide personalized and attentive care by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You must detail-oriented, prompt and communicative, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets our client's needs. Strong verbal and written skills are also needed to succeed in this role. Prior experience is required.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist patient with necessary daily living activities, including dressing and personal care.
- Perform Hoyer lift-transfers into and out of bed, as well as into and out of shower chair and wheelchair.
- Care for patient by changing bed linens, doing laundry, and light housecleaning.
- Keeping records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
- Assist client with meal prep and light cooking.
- Engage with patient in exercises or other physical fitness activities.
- Drive patient to and from appointments and errands using patient's vehicle.
Shifts Needed (some flexibility)
- Sat-Sun: 9am-11:30am
- Sat-Sun: 9am-11:30am
Qualifications
- Preferred degree from an accredited nurse assistant program
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year prior professional experience
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- CPR certification required (or willing to complete)
