Job Summary:
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Live Oak Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Assist with filing and maintaining patient records
- Coordinate with veterinary technicians and doctors to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide general information about clinic services and answer basic pet care questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Knowledge of pet care, animal handling, and basic dog training techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with pet grooming, kennel operations, and animal care practices is beneficial
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and laboratory procedures is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
