Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is accepting applications for the Super Summer Camp Lead Teacher Position. Selections will be made based on program needs and their daily availability to work for the duration of the assignment.
DETAILS FOR THE SUPER SUMMER CAMP LEAD TEACHER ASSIGNMENTS:
OPEN TO INTERNAL CURRENT CONTRACTED FUESD CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES ONLY
The lead teacher assists in the overall supervision and coordination of the Super Summer Camp Program.
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 28, 2025 - 4:00 p.m.
- LENGTH OF WORK PERIOD: There will be one Mandatory Staff Meeting/Prep Day on Monday, July 7, 2025, and 18 Instructional Days from Tuesday, July 8, 2025, to Thursday, July 31, 2025.
- WORK SITE: Live Oak Elementary
- SALARY: 1 Staff Meeting/Prep Day paid at $75.00/hourly rate, 18 instructional days at $525.00 per day (based on 7.0 hours/day).
- WORK SCHEDULE: 7.0 hours/day, Monday- Friday; 7:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
- REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:
- Preferred Administrative Services Credential
- At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience
- EXPECTATIONS: To provide a schedule that incorporates the design elements on course descriptions for the assigned class; to be in attendance and on time for the duration of the program; to provide small group, large group and one-on-one instruction; to maintain an environment conducive to learning with clear rules, expectations and consequences for inappropriate behavior; to perform all duties of teaching and duty assignments as requested; to perform appropriate documentation on student progress, including pre/post assessments with appropriate documentation.
The Super Summer Camp Lead Teacher will:
- Assist in the selection of Super Summer Camp personnel
- Maintain appropriate records
- Assist Super Summer Camp staff in securing materials and planning programs, including establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior
