By developing and implementing policies and procedures, they work to prevent accidents, injuries, and legal issues, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone within the nursing home environment.
Key responsibilities of a nursing home Risk Manager include :
- Identifying potential risks : Regularly reviewing resident records, monitoring facility operations, and analyzing incident reports to identify potential hazards such as falls, medication errors, infections, or abuse.
