Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Engage children in various activities including play, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling to enhance learning.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
- Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education practices.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Proven ability in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment.
- Experience in caregiving or infant care is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
