Lead Tree Climber

In the role of a Tree Climber for Live On Tree Service, LLC, you will have the opportunity to work outside. The Tree Climber applies expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to ensure the health and well-being of each team member on the crew, the customer, and their landscape.

What a day is like:
As a climber for Live On Tree Service, LLC the focus will be on working together with the crew to provide high-quality tree care to our clients. Your role is involved in all aspects of climbing, hazardous tree removals, tree trimming/pruning, cable bracing, equipment care, and safety for yourself and your ground crew. As a climber, you are required to be knowledgeable and capable of safely operating all equipment and performing the assigned job tasks while providing high-quality service to our clients.

General Accountabilities:

• Manages and mitigates tree removal, cleaning up tree debris, branches, and large rounds.
• Reports to crew lead for directions regarding logistics and schedules
• Climbs trees, trims trees, prunes trees, chips branches, and other assigned tasks
• Operates powered equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders
• Maintains equipment and reports any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to the crew lead

Job Qualifications:

• 5 years or more of climbing experience prioritizing safety and precision.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Employer reserves the right to random drug screening of all permanent employees.
• Have a valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Be able to lift 50 pounds or more

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
