Primary Role
The core function of the Sales Analyst is to gather, interpret and use data to increase sales and revenue. It is integral to managing the financial and contractual workflow, focusing primarily on collaborating with Account Executives (AEs) to execute contracts. Additional responsibilities include payment scheduling, invoicing, and sales information systems and data management. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with various team members to ensure seamless operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Analysis, Intelligence and Automation
- Create and maintain sales reports
- Ensure sales systems information is kept up to date
- Support sales forecasting
- Present data interpretations
- Perform market trend analysis
- Keep informed of technological innovations
- Utilize data analysis tools and CRM platform to deliver data-driven recommendations
Contract Execution with Account Executives (AE)
- Collaborate with AEs to prepare, review, and execute contracts.
- Align inventory and resource management system (IntelliEvent or other similar system) to reflect accurate financial detail.
- Ensure all contract terms align with client requirements and company policies.
- Maintain organized records of all contracts for easy reference and compliance tracking.
Payment Scheduling & Invoicing -
- Determine and manage payment schedules based on budgets and client agreements.
- Send out deposit invoices and follow up as necessary to ensure timely payments.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience, or having worked in a service-oriented environment
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of contracts, sales forecasting, and account research tools (preferably ZoomInfo)
- Experience with client management and customer service
- Good aptitude, attitude, and to easily able to relate to and interact with internal employees, freelancers and clients
- Must be proficient with CRM and reporting software
