Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test data cables (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, etc.)
  • Set up and configure AV systems, including speakers, displays, sound systems, and structured wiring
  • Assist with network rack builds, patch panels, and cable management
  • Troubleshoot and maintain AV/low-voltage systems in residential and commercial settings
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and client specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Collaborate with electricians, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow
  • Maintain job site cleanliness, safety, and organization
  • Travel to various job sites, with per diem provided when applicable

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in AV/Audio, data comm, or structured cabling (required)
  • Ability to run and terminate data cables and install AV components
  • Familiarity with low-voltage codes, standards, and safety best practices
  • Ability to work independently and follow project direction
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, ability to lift 50 lbs , and in various site conditions
  • No formal license is required, but relevant certifications are a plus

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, Monday to Thursday
  • 10-hour shifts with some overtime potential
