Position Summary : This position works in all the areas within the Logistics department, including : shipping, receiving, plant stores, ETS, hazardous waste corral and the track area. Responsible for loading, unloading, stacking, shipping, transporting, receiving, and issuing materials at BC site facility. Operates forklifts, yard tractors, dok-loks, power tools, specialize equipment meeting the requirements outlined in standard operating procedures in shipping, receiving, plant stores, ETS, hazardous waste corral and the track area. This position will promote a culture of continuous improvement, act on key performance indicators, and ensure customer expectations are meet - both external and internal customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Champion Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) culture
- Input material information into SAP and other databases are required
- Complies with DOT regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- Provides written documentation of material transfers, cycle counting, physical inventories, picking list, bill of lading, packing slips, material issues / returns, and equipment check sheets.
- Counts, sorts, and / or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on packing slips and against purchase orders.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Completes XRF inspection of incoming parts composed of exotic materials.
- Receives, issues, and transfers materials into SAP computerized system, generate and affix stock tags on materials and store in bins, on floor, in pallet racks, or on shelves, according to their designated location in SAP.
