Reports To – LFC IA Recreational Leagues Coordinator

Employment Status – Part Time

Salary – Starts at $23.25

Terms and Conditions:

• Coaches must be in compliance with US Club Soccer coaching requirements which includes having an online (minimum) coaching license, undertaking a background check and completing required safeguarding courses. These can be completed after job offer.
• All offers are contingent pending a livescan.
• Approx # hours per week – Up to 16

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver progressive sessions to the club’s boys and girls recreational players aged 5 - 14.
• Complete field set up prior to sessions.
• Follow approved LFC IA curriculum.
• Ensure sessions are challenging in order to facilitate individual player development.
• Liaise with parents to provide feedback on the performance and progress of their child within the program as directed.

Role of an LFC IA coach:

• Set high standards of professionalism and demonstrate a high standard of conduct, thus providing a good role model for young players.
• Supervise and be responsible for a group of young players at all times during training and game days, ensuring the safety of all as your first priority.
• Demonstrate both management and communication skills to players, parents and LFC IA colleagues.
• Promote LFC IA and our programs at all times.
• Must be punctual at all times.
• Wear LFC IA provided coaching apparel for all LFC IA events.
• Adhere to LFC IA coaching equipment standards and colors
