Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly seniors, by offering personalized care and companionship. This role requires a strong sense of empathy, patience, and the ability to observe and respond to the needs of clients effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Observe and document changes in clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility assistance
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or home care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in client conditions.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
