Looking for Structural Steel Fitters!
Fitter candidates are invited to apply at Livi Steel, Inc. Same location since 1977 (over 47 years). Simply GPS 1245 Burton Street S.E. Warren, Ohio 44484 (corner of Pine and Burton). Day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 6:00 a.m. to noon, Saturday, voluntary. Paid 15-minute break. Unpaid 30-minute lunch. Afternoon shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
NEW part time hours are available (Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with paid 15-minute break included or Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with unpaid 30-minute lunch included).
Fitter Duties: Fit structural steel to blueprint specifications. Execute and perform light metal fabrications following blueprint specifications. Perform fitting and welding based on blueprint specifications. Manufacture customers’ products according to blueprint specifications. Sometimes Metal Punching, Metal Shearing, Metal Saw Cutting, Metal Welding, etc. Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces. We do not require professional training for Fitters. We do not complete / perform background checks. Second chance employer. Must provide own tools and steel toe work boots.
