What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Coordinator-Hancock/Washington County position at Living Innovations Support Services Llc?

The Employment Coordinator for Living Innovations is responsible for the management of our Employment Program, which may include career planning, job development or job coaching within the context of policies and standards established for and by Living Innovations. This position will also supervise and support Employment Specialist and Job Coaches ensuring direct reports receive support to be effective in their role and feedback on their performance, by way of coaching sessions and performance evaluations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the agency as well as a passion for going out in the community to find new career opportunities for the individuals we support.
What you will be doing:
- Overseeing job development and job placement activities on behalf of supported individuals.
- Overseeing orientation training program for all new individuals placed in an employment opportunity.
- Ensuring the completion of Vocational Rehab Reports
- Ensuring staff development by overseeing and/or coordinating direct report training/education and certification activities.
- Maintaining effective work relationships with supported individuals and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Bachelor’s degree in social service or related field or experience in a related position preferred.
- Prior participation in an ACRE approved training program is a plus.
- A valid state issued driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
- Must pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies.
