Living Meadows is a non-profit corporation that was founded by 21 area Lutheran churches to provide care to area men and women. Luther Memorial Home was built in 1958 and the first resident was admitted in 1959. What would you do as a Director of Dietary

As our new Full-Time Director of Dietary, you can expect a dynamic and engaging day-to-day experience! Your mornings will kick off with team huddles, where you'll lead the dietary team in planning menus, ensuring every dish is not only nutritious but also a delight to the palate. Throughout the day, you'll oversee kitchen operations, manage food inventory, and maintain safety standards-all while fostering an energetic and fun work environment. Collaborating with staff, you'll implement dietary plans tailored to residents' needs, making sure each meal truly reflects our heartfelt mission of feeding people.

Your schedule is set from Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Get ready for a fulfilling journey where your leadership shines as you create memorable dining experiences!

To thrive as the Full-Time Director of Dietary at Living Meadows, you'll need a blend of culinary expertise and managerial prowess! We're searching for someone with at least 3 years of experience in a healthcare dietary department, equipped with a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) license or actively pursuing it. Your experience will shine as you lead our dining program, managing dietary employees through effective scheduling, payroll, and hiring practices. Strong interpersonal skills will be essential for ensuring employee engagement and performance management while keeping the kitchen buzzing with energy and fun! Proficiency in meal planning, nutrition consulting, and tools for ordering, inventory control, budgeting, and purchasing will set you up for success.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• The Director of Dietary runs the day-to-day operations. Management of dietary employees is a key responsibility scheduling

• An ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in a healthcare dietary department and be licensed Certified Dietary Manager or be working toward receiving your CDM.
