- Must be dedicated and compassionate manager with the ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of a program supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role ensures person-centered care, compliance with all regulations, and a positive, team-oriented environment for staff and residents. Oversee and implement individualized support plans, including participation in life plan meetings and behavioral support plans.
- Promote community integration by supporting residents with activities such as shopping, meal planning, and social outings.
- Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies, including staff training, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to residential staff.
- Manage household budgets, staff payroll, and residents’ personal allowances.
- Oversee medication management, including ordering, storage, administration, and inventory.
- Lead and participate in meetings, trainings, and staff development initiatives.
- Serve on the on-call rotation and support emergency response efforts.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of Human Services experience; 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
