Job Summary
Maintain excellence in communication through various mediums, including: digital communication, social media, and printed materials. Collaborates with staff to provide administrative support to the congregation.
Creative Responsibilities
- Develop innovative communication strategies and content that you will implement across all mediums.
- Amplify engagement across social media platforms.
- Partner with staff to refine and ensure brand alignment consistency.
Support Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for church phone, email inquiries, and reception of USPS mail.
- Provide input and ensure church policies and procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with staff to leverage the tools and resources of Planning Center to streamline organizational management.
Skills & Competencies
- Content creation: expertise with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and X) expertise with Canva (or similar graphic programs)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-versed in (or willing to quickly learn) the beliefs and practices of our Christian denomination.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
