The Floor Person plays a crucial role in what we are seeking. An enthusiastic and compassionate individual to fill the role of Floor Person/Floater in our busy Adult Day Center. This position is key to creating a warm and welcoming environment for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Floor Person/Floater, your main focus will be to engage with our members throughout the day. You’ll play a vital role in providing emotional support, listening to their stories, and being a friendly presence they can turn to for conversation and companionship.
In addition to this vital social interaction, you'll also assist with various administrative tasks. This includes checking in members warmly at the front desk, answering phone calls, taking messages, and ensuring that communication flows smoothly within our center.
You will also have the opportunity to accompany our members on outings, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience during our trips.
At the end of the day, your responsibilities will extend to maintaining a clean and organized environment. This could involve sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming the floors. Additionally, you’ll lend a hand in the kitchen, which may include washing dishes as well as pots and pans, ensuring our kitchen area is tidy and welcoming.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
