Description :
We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Qualified Professional. As a Qualified Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
Living With Autism, INC is a provider agency for individuals with developmental disabilities with 2 residential facilities for young men with severe autism and we also have a day center which operates from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday.
The Qualified Professional is responsible for supervision of individuals supports, maintenance of assigned programs, development and implementation of Individual Service Plan.
Responsibilities :
1. Orchestrates (Integration; Coordination; and Monitoring) all facets of the active treatment effort, including the of goals and plans tailored to meet the need of each individual client :
A. Routinely observes the client across settings in program areas to assess effectiveness of program implementation and
consistency of training effort to determine effectiveness of program planning and makes timely modifications to facilitate
achieving desired skills and goals.
B. Routinely interacts with program staff across settings in program areas to assist in determination the effectiveness and
continued relevance of program plans in meeting identified client needs.
C. Determines the need for program revision based on client performance.
D. Identifies inconsistencies in training approaches or programs not being implemented as written and facilitates the resolution
of these inconsistencies.
E. Monitors and assures follow-ups for all recommended services; equipment or programs to assure all needed services and
supplies are provided in a timely manner to meet the needs of each individual client.
2. Effectively coordinates internal and external program services and supports to facilitate the acquisition of skills and adaptive behaviors for each individual client.
3. Effectively promotes competent interactions of direct care staff with each individual client in program implementation and behavior management; and
4. Effectively coordinates with professional; paraprofessional and non-professional staff to provide direct and indirect professional services to meet the need of each individual client.
5. Available to work 10-15 hours weekly.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required and four years of experience in ID / DD field. Must meet the state / federal educational and experience requirements for a QDDP.
Must have valid drivers license and clear driving record; must have cleared and approved criminal record check.
Must be flexible in working hours and be willing to work additional hours as needed.
