Essential Duties
- Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; models a consistent, daily walk with Jesus Christ in attitude, speech, and actions
- Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with students, parents, staff, and administration
- Prepares course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum guidelines or requirements / standards of state and school and submits weekly to principal
- Lectures, demonstrates, and uses audiovisual technology teaching aids to present subject matter to class
- Prepares, administers, and corrects tests, and records results
- Assigns lessons, homework, corrects papers, and hears oral presentations
- Teaches rules of conduct
- Maintains order in classroom and in auxiliary spaces on campus as well as off-site school-sponsored activities
- Counsels students when academic and / or behavioral problems arise
- Discusses students' academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements with parents
- Keeps attendance and grade records as required by school
- Curate online courses
- Facilitate students in the online program
Qualifications
Education and / or Experience : Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S..) from four-year college or university in secondary education or Math
Desired License : Minnesota state teaching license in Math 7-12
