Join our client's dynamic startup-like environment as a People Operations Manager! This is an incredible opportunity to lead and manage People processes and workflows for an interior solutions firm where you'll wear multiple hats and drive key projects in an agile, entrepreneurial setting.
As a department of one, you'll have a big focus on enhancing the newly developed onboarding program and performance management system. You'll foster a culture of excellence and employee engagement through a strategic and hands-on approach to the People function aligned with their mission and vision.
The role is Hybrid - Onsite 4x per week!

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Own new hire onboarding and successful integration.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing employee needs and other relevant issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment and strong company culture.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program, and help with payroll modifications.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years in HR with 2 years in leadership / program ownership preferred.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Excellent active listening and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Solid knowledge of HR best practices.
- Knowledge of EOS, Ninety, and iSolved HR systems and databases preferred.
