The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests as needed.

Job Tasks
1. Communication with clients and within the office.
2. Calendar - monitor/maintain
3. Draft documents (letters, notices, correspondence, memos, emails, forms, etc.)
4. Understand client requirements/procedures/guidelines for accurate billing process
5. Prepare draft deposition summaries for the attorney’s review
6. Research care providers for subpoenas
7. Research citations in legal briefs
8. Research areas of law
9. Search for expert witnesses
10. Handle written discovery
11. Review, assess, and calculate medical specials
12. Assist attorneys at trial. (Operate tech equipment, keep track of exhibits, set up witness files, draft exhibit lists, draft witness list)
13. Medical Research
14. Interview witnesses
15. Investigate individuals involved in legal action (i.e., Plaintiff’s experts, Plaintiffs, or witnesses)
Qualifications
- 2 years as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Ability to work overtime
Salary : $23 - $28
