Role:
Occasional part-time driver (up to 28 hours per week) provides safe and timely transportation services for consumers in recovery from mental health issues to access Genesis House and community social activities. Driver must be respectful of and engaging with consumers. Driver must follow appropriate safety precautions in transporting consumers. Driver works under the guidance of the Genesis Program Coordinator and Program Director.

Job Specific Requirements:
High school diploma
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to actively engage persons with mental illness
Strong relationship-building skills are preferred.
Attention to safety.
Ability to plan routes and assist members in and out of vehicles
Primary shifts are weekdays; however, there will be evenings or weekends for clubhouse social activities
Qualifications, and Experience
Experience in providing transportation or working with adults with mental illness is desirable.
Valid Chauffeurs Driver's License or ability to obtain upon hire in order to drive a large passenger van.
Salary : $11 - $16
