Starting Salary:

Infant Mental Health Therapist I: $56,040.97- $64,134.51 annual salary based on experience.

Infant Mental Health Therapist II: $58,519.71 - $67,287.31 annual salary based on experience.

Role:

Are you ready to make a profound difference in the lives of young children and their families? As a regular full-time Infant Mental Health Therapist, you'll join a compassionate and driven team, dedicated to strengthening family bonds and supporting the healthy development of children aged 0-6.

In this role, you'll bring your expertise in relationship-focused therapy directly to families' homes and community settings. Working closely with program staff and community partners, you'll create a network of care around each family, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs. Every day, you'll support parents and caregivers, from expectant mothers to fathers, helping them nurture strong relationships and create a foundation for their child's well-being.

With each family you serve, you'll conduct assessments that lead to individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, empowering parents with guidance and resources along the way. Your presence will be a source of comfort and stability, providing critical crisis intervention when needed and linking families to additional support services to ensure holistic care.

As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play a key role in outreach and community teaming, building meaningful referral relationships with other agencies. Your contributions will extend beyond one-on-one interactions-by cultivating a broader network, you'll enhance the program's reach and its impact in the community.

Requirements to join us:

Candidates must be committed to our shared values and commitment to community care including clinical excellence, community inclusion, community benefit, innovation, integrated care and improvement. Our collaborative approach to treatment requires strong teaming skills. This is a dynamic, team-oriented position with great opportunities to grow.

Job Specific Requirements:

Prior treatment experience with children with Serious Emotional Disturbance and their families and strong teaming skills are preferred. A valid MI driver's license required

Evening hours are required.

Qualifications, and Experience:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Service field is required.
  • Registration/licensure (Limited/Full) as a social worker, counselor, or psychologist in the State of Michigan required.
  • Minimum 1 year direct clinical experience in providing therapy services to young children (0- 6 years old) and their families is required (includes postgraduate level internship experience).

• An Infant Mental Health certification and/or endorsement is preferred. A waiver to provide clinical services to birth to three population provided by employer to work towards endorsement.
