JOB SUMMARY
This position will report to the Manager of US Post Entry and work directly with CBP officers.The ideal candidate is a dynamic team player,with experience in recon claims, customs clearance, or post entry functions.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate recon claims by pulling flagged entries into a recon file, accounting for all entries.
- Make required NAFTA and/or Value adjustments, submit to the client for approval, to submit to CBP on their behalf.
- Ability to work with Systems Administration to resolve discrepancy issues. Ensuring all items match prior to submission, while honoring submission deadlines.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience in Customs Brokerage Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in post entry summary claims and/or customs clearance, or other post entry functions is a definite plus!
- Proven ability to problem solve, handle large volumes of work and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, initiative and data analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail
