Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Staff member to join our team. The Maintenance Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our facility. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair equipment, systems, and facilities within our nursing home.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances to ensure they are in proper working order.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing urgent matters.
Perform repairs and renovations to the building's structure, including painting, carpentry, and drywall repair.
Maintain the grounds by mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and removing snow and ice as needed.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including those related to hazardous materials and waste disposal.
Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and furniture for events and activities within the nursing home.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and employees.
Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to maintenance and facility management.
