What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Livingston Veterinary Clinic?
Livingston Veterinary Clinic is looking for a self motivated, upbeat, responsible and caring receptionist to join our team. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred, but we will work with the right motivated candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering phones.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Being able to read and navigate medical records.
- Multitasking.
- Restocking supplies as needed.
- Basic understanding of medications.
- Understand vaccine protocol/be open to learn.
- Basic computer skills.
- Team player.
- Operate a multi-line phone system
- Hospital upkeep/Lobby cleanliness
- Respond to client requests as needed
- Perform cash out procedure
- General organization and file upkeep
- Schedule appointments and maintain organization within Practice Management Software
- Manage email and other client interface programs when applicable
- Ensure every client has an exceptional first and last interaction
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Must be available during clinic hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:30 am to 12 pm.
