Job Summary
LIVIT is an award winning Landscape-Design-Build company that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality landscape construction and installation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves supervising crew members, ensuring project completion, working well with others, equipment care, and maintaining the highest standards of landscaping work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of landscape crew members in various landscaping projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to our company standards.
- Maintain equipment and tools used for landscaping to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and garden beds as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Train new employees on proper landscaping techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members, work along side designers, assist with communication with clients to partner with providing the best expierence for our clients.
Qualifications
- 5 years in the landscaping industry with prior supvisory experience.
- Proven experience in landscape construction.
- Strong knowledge proper planting and planting care during the installation period.
- Hardscape experience for building patios and retaining walls.
- Ability to retro and install irrigation adjustments as they come up.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and proficiency with construction equipment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
