Our company is seeking an experienced Grocery/Supermarket Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our market with a minimum of five years experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, managing teams, and ensuring smooth store operations. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including staff management, inventory control, maintaining a budget, customer satisfaction, and compliance of health and safety regulations. Has experience managing time and resources effectively and can multitask while maintaining composure.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, displayed according to company standards, and priced correctly.
- Monitor sales and inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing waste and shrinkage.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team of staff, including cashiers, stockers, department heads, and other supermarket employees.
- Schedule and supervise staff, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction levels, including evaluating customer feedback and taking necessary corrective actions.
- Promote and uphold the store's standards for product quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Oversee store budget and ensure efficient use of resources to achieve financial targets, including sales goals and operating costs.
- Manage store expenses and profitability, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.
- Ensure the store complies with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory guidelines, including food safety and hygiene standards.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including security measures, to protect store assets and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and retail management software (POS systems, inventory tools, etc.).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays are required.
- Ability to lift and carry products as needed, and stand or walk for long periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
