Purpose The Curriculum Content Developer is responsible for working collaboratively with and assisting the Manager of Learning and Development and others company-wide to design, develop, deliver, and maintain a high-quality training and development program for employees and leaders. The Curriculum Content Developer is focused on initiatives that will improve the productivity, performance, and compliance, while enhancing employee engagement and retention. The Curriculum Content Developer is focused on collaborative efforts that will meet organizational culture and scale capabilities and build organizational brand. The Curriculum Content Developer will effectively perform this role to fulfill other assignments as assigned and flex into other roles as assigned. Essential Duties Collaborate effectively with LivWell Learning and Development manager, subject matter experts (SMEs) and other managers to develop engaging, relevant and effective training curriculum contentDesign and develop learning solutions and programs applying adult learning principles and systematic instructional design to create learning content that best fits the needs of the learner (includes online, classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning content).Write training content to suit audience, in motivational, compliance, technical or informational nature.Re-conceptualize existing in-person professional development programs for online delivery.Develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning including social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia-based assets.Develop graphics / media assets to bring story elements and concepts to life visually using curriculum design software.Ensure brand messages and terminology are consistent across all written materials.Assists with needs analyses and learning strategy development activities to improve individual and organizational performance through learning.Assist junior developers in use of tools and instructional design methodologies. Job Qualifications Work Experience Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials and content to include creating instructor-led materials, online / e-learning modules, job aids, online tutorials, multimedia products (video, graphic, audio), and other training materials.Ability to apply adult learning principles and incorporate this into curriculum design and development.Professional experience using e-learning software, LMS and CMS software (Moodle, Vyond or similar).Experienced using video editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Camtasia or similar).Working understanding of media design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud or similar).Experience working with and integrating the use of knowledge bases and online reference for learning and performance support.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write, design, develop technical and nontechnical content projects.Experience managing small to medium scale content development projects and excellent organizational skills.Familiar with using data collection, research, and analysis to assess project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance.Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue. Education Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
