Description of Work : LivWell is currently seeking a highly-skilled, reliable, self-motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will respond to all service tickets, perform routine maintenance, and provide infrastructure upgrades as needed. Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL : Conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of Livwell, working effectively in a diverse working environment. Works in the cultivation facilities and offices to repair and maintain the facilities and assist other trades. Diagnosis, troubleshoots and repairs electrically related problems including wiring, lighting, BASystems, control systems, motors, 120v / 208, 277 / 480 volt systems, etc. in various installations. Monitors and maintains electrical fixtures, electrical services and systems and equipment. Work may also include but not limited to heating, air conditioning, and plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, carpentry, generators and other general building maintenance systems and equipment. Prepares materials lists and performs tasks to ensure completion of the work in a timely and efficient manner. Operates hand and power tools, Livwell facilities maintenance equipment, snow removal equipment, company vehicles, scissor / bucket lifts and / or other heavy equipment as needed. Works under minimum supervision and on occasion may direct the work of others in assigned duties. Work outside normal work hours and all shifts. Conforms to all safety regulations and practices. Works on occasion in confined spaces, at unusual heights, outdoors in all weather conditions, in a garage environment and lifts objects such as motors up to 50 lbs. in weight. OTHER Performs other duties as assigned. Work along the operation laborers helping complete their daily tasks if needed. Qualifications Must possess a current working knowledge of electricity and the ability to perform basic testing and work of it. Must have knowledge of 208 / 480 volt systems 3 phase systems, Honeywell and other control systems and experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical facilities and equipment, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, carpentry, locksmith work and fabrication. Must possess a minimum set of hand tools as required of the job. Must be able to acquire knowledge of EPA, MED, Dept of AG and other related safety rules and regulations and have knowledge and ability to follow safe work practices. Must be able to read and understand at the appropriate level technical manuals, schematics, blueprints and technical trade code books pertaining to facilities and equipment serviced. Must be able to work under minimum supervision and be capable of directing others in assigned duties. Must be able and willing to work changing shifts, in confined spaces, at heights, in a garage environment, outdoors in inclement weather and to lift objects up to 50 lbs. in weight. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce. Must be able to obtain and maintain a background check as a condition of employment. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
