Our company has experienced significant growth over the past several years and has prioritized continuous improvement to help fuel continued growth. We are early on our journey and seeking a Manufacturing Manager with a strong background in continuous improvement to join our growing team.


Job Summary

The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing our industrial sewing operations, implementing process improvements, and driving efficiency across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Management: Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments both day to day and annual planning
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and refine processes to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive operational excellence.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute improvement projects from conception through ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing management with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations Management, or related field.

  5. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  6. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  7. Process Optimization: Expertise in streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  8. Change Management: Ability to manage and drive change within the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in from stakeholders.
  9. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operations management software and tools.
  10. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of operations.
