Our company has experienced significant growth over the past several years. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Specialist to drive external sales and new business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background,  combined with exceptional sales skills to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities. 


Summary

The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for expanding our client base, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and providing technical solutions that meet customer needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and engage with local, regional and national companies that represent the potential for $100,000 annual revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their technical requirements. Ensure all customers understand the full scope of our technological advancements and value-adding capabilities.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide in-depth technical knowledge of products and services.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts to close deals successfully.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, purchasing, and marketing, to deliver tailored solutions to customers. 



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent technical experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of products and services or the willingness to learn.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record in B2B sales, lead generation, and closing complex deals.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Able to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Travel: Some travel may be required. 


Salary : $100,000
