Job Description
This role involves safely transporting and installing machinery of various sizes, and performing rigging operations on stamping presses, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, and mezzanines.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating gantries, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes, and be able to lead and coordinate crews on small and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport and install machinery of various sizes
- Perform rigging operations on stamping presses, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, and mezzanines
- Operate gantries, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts
- Lead and coordinate crews on small and large-scale projects
- Maintain clear communication with customers, project managers, and estimators regarding job progress
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Train apprentices and team members on rigging techniques and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machinery installation and removal
- Experience operating gantries, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes
- Valid driver's license (CDL-A is a plus)
- Willingness to travel as needed
