Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform basic welding tasks, including cutting, fitting, and fabricating metal components.
- Support the team with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on-site.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order.
- Adhere to workplace safety and regulatory standards at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge in millwright and welding practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment or completion in a certified welding training program.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to work in diverse environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Valid chauffer's license and medical examiner's certificate within 90 days of hire.
