Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Maintenance Person to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks and repairs around the house and apartment buildings, from general maintenance to electrical work. If you are a skilled and handy individual who is comfortable with a variety of tasks, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of tasks and repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues with electrical systems, using an Ohmmeter and other tools as needed.
- Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, while also ensuring quality work.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to prevent accidents.
- Work independently, but also be able to take direction from our management team.
- Be able to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces, as needed.
- Keep all work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Person or in a related field.
- Ability to use an Ohmmeter and other hand tools.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
