General Responsibilities:
- Support the department on all environmental services including Phase I and II ESAs, site remediation, soil and groundwater sampling, and field observation documentation
- Prepare technical reports and conduct field assessments
Required Education:
- BS in Environmental Science or related field required
Required Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to represent LJA and its clients in a professional manner at all times
- Basic computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with environmental regulatory compliance and/or field inspections preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to drive long distances, to and from job sites within Texas and Louisiana. Locations may include but are not limited to: Houston, Austin, Freeport, Conroe, and Beaumont.
- Inspection sites will have uneven ground and will require walking/standing for long periods of time; possible climbing.
- Work in inclement weather (hot/cold/rain)
- Work non-standard hours/days, including some weekend or holiday work on occasion
